Kanye has faired better than Musk when it comes to dipping his toe into one of the most famous institutions in Berlin. The rapper and his partner, Bianca Censori were seen in the capital on Thursday queueing to buy a Döner at Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebap.
With a t-shirt wrapped around his head to hide from paparazzi, West and Censori, who is an Australian architect, shared a watermelon-flavoured Durstlöscher and then waited in the afternoon sun for their lunch.
West and Censori sent to join back of the queue
An employee working at Mustafa’s, where Berliners and tourists commonly wait upwards of 45 minutes to get their hands on what is dubbed the best vegetable kebab in the city, told t-online that the couple ordered four sandwiches, one without onions.
Media reports claim that someone accompanying the couple attempted to skip the queue but Mustafa’s manager refused to offer special treatment and they were sent to join the back of the line.
In recent years West has attracted media attention after making antisemitic and racist statements that led to the termination of his commercial partnership with German sports brand Adidas.
