Return to the woods this summer for one of the hottest open-air festivals near Munich. Back to the Woods music festival features some of the leading and upcoming techno, house and deep house DJs in a one-of-a-kind surrounding.

Taking place at the university research centre in Garching, Back to the Woods is a single-day festival designed to unite fellow house, deep house and techno music fans together. 

Taking place for the eighth time, Back to the Woods is located within a beautiful forest, where all attendees are encouraged to treat the natural environment with the utmost respect. Organisers kellerkind create unique settings for the festival's five areas, each of which offers its own beat and vibes.

Getting there

As the music festival aims to create a sense of harmony between nature, music and the attendees, visitors are encouraged to try and use public transportation wherever possible to arrive at the location. The nearest train station, U6 from Munich, is only a minute walk away from the main location.

Be advised that parking spaces are limited if you do decide to come by car - and remember, no drinking and driving!
