Various Others Arts Festival
Twice a year, Various Others threads the city of Munich through with exciting, contemporary art. To celebrate the start of the new cultural season, over 50 galleries and other venues throw open their doors to showcase the best and the brightest of the art world.
Various Others Arts Festival
While the Various Others weekend is about the Munich art scene, it doesn't limit itself to only artists from Bavaria. It's also about strengthening Munich's position in the international art community through exchange and cooperation. This means you get the chance to see some of the best global artists as well!
From galleries to museums to artist-run spaces, you can explore Munich's art world in a way that isn't possible the rest of the year. As well as exhibition openings, there are talks and workshops, as well as several parties!

Artists at Various Others 2024
As well as a whole host of innovative contemporary artists, some of the exhibitions will show the work of some famous predecessors of the current movement to put the art into context. Therefore, as well as young, modern artists, you can see work from artists such as Hockney, Beuys, Haring and Warhol hanging on the walls.
