New Year’s Eve Run Munich
Run into the new year this December 31 at the New Year’s Eve Run Munich (Silvesterlauf München), an event for everyone, no matter whether you want to sprint, run, jog, walk, or just watch!
The New Year’s Eve Run
The New Year’s Eve Run in Munich has been taking place annually in 1984, and is one of the most popular fun races in all of Bavaria. The routes each take a circuit through the Olympic Park, starting and finishing by the guest of honour area at the Olympic Stadium.
The race is accommodating to all with the competitions being registered as “approved walking run - walking / hiking”, and there is also a kid’s run, great for families with children.
To accommodate different types of runners, there will be four routes for the runners to choose from:
- Children’s run - 0,5 kilometres
- Schoolchildren's run - 2 kilometres
- Fun run - 5 kilometres
- Folk & Street run - 10 kilometres
