Maker Faire Hannover
The leading festival for inspiration, creativity and innovation is returning to the Hannover Congress Centrum and Stadtpark this summer! The seventh edition of Maker Faire will once more bring together crafters, solderers, and DIYers to share their love of creating and discovering new things.
The fair for all Makers
Self-proclaimed as the greatest show (and tell), family orientated festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, this event is a true celebration of the maker movement. A science fair meets country fair meets DIY fair, Maker Faire is a gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, engineers and artists, who come together to share their creations and skills with others.
Originally launched in the San Francisco Bay area in 2006 by Make: magazine, Maker Faire has expanded across the globe, with annual events in Berlin, Tokyo and Paris. Designed to be future-looking, showcasing new forms of technologies and innovations, the fair also welcomes experimentation across the wide board of science, engineering, art, performance and craft.
