Hurricane Festival
This is one rock music festival you don’t want to miss out on this summer! Every June, tens of thousands of rock, pop, alternative and electro music fans attend the Hurricane Festival, for a three-day-long celebration of music.
Attracting international artists, along with well-known German artists, the event is also a springboard for many up-and-coming artists.
What is Hurricane Festival?
First held at the Eichenring motorcycle track in Scheeßel in 1997, Hurricane Festival has grown over the years into one of Germany’s biggest music festivals, attracting more than 77.000 attendees per year.
Following the success of the Hurricane Festival, in 1999 event organisers launched its sister festival, the Southside Festival. Taking place at the same time as the Hurricane Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck, the Southside Festival offers the same lineup and acts as a twin festival. More than 130.000 visitors from across Europe attend the festivals each year, drawn in by the strong line-up and constant innovation.
