Calling all fans of British and Irish films! You can enjoy over 150 short films as part of the British Shorts Film Festival that takes place in Berlin every January.
British Shorts Film Festival
We all know the best things come in small packages, and film are no exception. With short films in every conceivable genre and on all kinds of topics, the British Shorts Film Festival brings the very best short films from the UK and Ireland to Berlin to entertain you through the cold and dark month of January.
Now in its 18th year, the festival has a reputation for the highest quality selection, with films guaranteed to make you laugh, think and cry. Documentaries, sci-fi, drama, comedy, animation and films for kids all get their chance to shine here.
An exciting supporting programme
In addition to the many short films that are the main part of the programme, the festival has plenty more to offer. There are workshops for those who get inspired to make their own short films, an exhibition and talks on various film-related themes. Live music keeps the energy high in between showings.
Plus, as well as bringing all the very best new films, a retrospective is being held, so you can catch up on the best films from the past few years!
