Newcomers Festival welcomes over 5.000 visitors
In 2001, thanks to the initiative of the city of Frankfurt, the Newcomers Festival for international newcomers was launched for the first time. This annual event at City Hall attracts up to 5.000 visitors each year, while up to 100 exhibitors offer useful information to visitors at their stands.

The Newcomers Festival offers support and orientation to international newcomers to the Rhine-Main region, so that they can get easily acquainted with their new home. During the event, which takes place from 1pm-5pm, numerous stands dedicated to culture, sports, leisure and education, as well as international and multicultural activities, can be visited. Particularly worth mentioning is the "Diplomats Corner", where newcomers have the opportunity to talk to the Consuls General.
